"...one to one tuition at the BLYTHE HALL SCHOOL means that often children who haven't thrived in other schools can show rapid improvement and attain unexpected results."

Over the past four years, a number of our clients have asked us to offer full-time education for their children at our premises for between a month and an academic year. Demand has continued to increase, and our new building accommodates up to fourteen children.

All students at the BLYTHE HALL SCHOOL are tutored individually in their own rooms, allowing a 100% focus on each child’s individual needs and enabling us to follow any required syllabus from the 7+, 8+ 11+ and 13+ Common Entrance examinations through to GCSE, A levels, or Baccalaureate. We are a recognised centre for all major examination boards and students may sit any of these examinations on site.

The highly intensive nature of the one-to-one tuition at the BLYTHE HALL SCHOOL means that often children who haven’t thrived in other schools can show rapid improvement and attain unexpected results. This is possible due to the combination of our experienced tutors, our fantastic specialists and the careful and fluid development of each child’s individual learning programme, which are reviewed on a weekly basis. Consequently, we provide the perfect environment for any students who require extra support for a specified time period or have specific learning difficulties due to dyslexia, dyspraxia, ADD or ADHD. All students at the school are given a full nutritional assessment by a qualified specialist and are put on a supervised dietary programme. Detailed written reports are sent to all involved professionals and parents every fortnight.

We do not have an entry test but insist on comprehensive psychometric and academic assessments in order to have a baseline for potential and actuality respectively. Under certain circumstances we are able to accept children who have been asked to leave their current school, but who need to complete their GCSEs or A levels in a highly disciplined environment. However, an offer of a place may be subject to the student successfully completing The Programme.

After an agreed period, we aim to place all of our students back into their original school or into a new school having followed their class syllabus and come a long way towards overcoming either their syllabus-based weaknesses or their specific learning difficulties. For those students who finish their secondary school education at the BLYTHE HALL SCHOOL, personal, structured advice will be offered to assist with university selection and applications
